How Many People Will Be Living With You?

Start by figuring out how many people you’ll be sharing your off-campus housing with. This step is all about making your search easier for you. For instance, if you have a group of five, we’ll narrow down your options to properties that can comfortably accommodate at least five people.

What Accommodations Suit Your Needs?

When it comes to accommodations, it’s all about tailoring your living space to your preferences. Start by considering your specific space requirements and preferences. Ask yourself questions like:

  • What location works best for you?
  • Do you need parking?
  • Is having a laundry important to you?
  • Is air conditioning a must-have?
  • Do you prefer a place with a backyard?
  • Are you leaning towards an entire house or an apartment?

Feel free to share these details with us, and we’ll be here to provide you with unit recommendations that align perfectly with your unique lifestyle and preferences.

What’s Your Budget?

Think about how much you can afford each month or for the whole year. Remember, it’s not just rent. Consider things like safety, convenience, and service too. When you tell us your budget, we can help you find options that match what you want while staying within your budget.

What’s Your Ideal Location?

Our properties are all a short walk away from both College Avenue and Easton Avenue. If you love the bar scene, Easton Avenue is your spot. For a quieter vibe, consider a house or apartment near Alexander Library. Tell us your interests, and we’ll help you find the perfect match.

What Amenities Are You Looking For?

We’re here to make your new home just right for you. Do you need single bedrooms? Looking for the convenience of laundry facilities? Prefer a place with air conditioning for comfort? Dreaming of a spacious kitchen for your culinary adventures? Or perhaps you’d love a big backyard for outdoor fun?

Let us know your wish list, and we’ll help you discover housing options that match your preferences perfectly. Your ideal home awaits!

Setting up a tour is a breeze, designed with your convenience in mind:

  • Virtual 3D Tour: Explore our properties through a virtual 3D tour anytime you like.

  • YouTube: Watch a curated tour of all your options, offering a quick and easy way to see what’s available.

  • FaceTime Tour: Join us for a personalized tour via FaceTime, where you can ask to see everything you’re interested in.

  • In-Person: There’s no substitute for experiencing your potential new home in person.

We’re here to accommodate your tour preferences, making it as easy as possible for you to see your potential new home.

Stay informed of your off-campus housing options.

Due to the high demand for off-campus housing, we provide a waitlist option. It’s important to understand that being on the waitlist does not guarantee housing. We lease our properties on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified lease signers. However, rest assured that we will keep you informed about any available off-campus housing options as they become available.

Simply complete our Contact Us form, and if you prefer, opt-in for text messages from RUliving.

Group or Point Person? Your Housing, Your Choice.

Group Approach: The quickest and most efficient way is for your entire group to tour and sign a lease together. This way, everyone gets a say in the decision.

Point Person: Alternatively, you can choose a point person from your group. They’ll tour units, narrow down options based on your needs, and guide you through the leasing process, explaining all the requirements.

Here’s what to think about:

  • If some group members don’t agree because they didn’t see all options, this approach might have challenges.
  • If your parents need to be involved or want to see the units, we can help schedule a group tour to save time.
  • Just remember, your housing isn’t locked in until the last group member signs the lease.

Your housing choice is in your hands, and we’re here to assist you every step of the way.

Yes, you have options!

You can rent a private studio or a 1-bedroom apartment if you prefer your own space. If you’d rather be part of a group, we can match you with other Rutgers students in a larger apartment or home.

The choice is yours, and we’re here to accommodate your preferences. Feel free to let us know how we can assist you further!
